The PEAK School will remain in Remote / At Home learning through December 18, 2020.

The earliest PEAK would reopen for any type of in-person/at school instruction would be January 4, 2021. In order for PEAK to open for in-person/at school learning on, or after January 4, 2021 COVID metrics must meet the criteria below.

Hybrid/Cohort Model
Using the COVID-19 Coconino County Health Weekly Schools Update zip code data, The PEAK School will not open until all three of the following districts: Coconino County Accommodation (86004), Flagstaff Charter(86001, 86004, 86005,86011) and Flagstaff Unified(86001, 86004, 86005,86011, 86015, 86017, 86018, 86020, 86035), show measurements of less than 50 cases per 100,000, less than 5% positivity rates, and less than 5% of hospital due to COVID-like illness for 4 consecutive weeks. At this time a Hybrid model with 2 cohorts of students will begin. Cohort A will attend in person school on Monday and Tuesday, Cohort B will attend school Thursday and Friday of each week. Cohort A and B will be fully remote every Wednesday. Parents will also have the option of joining Cohort C, which would be a fully remote option.

The PEAK School would return to Remote/ At Home only learning if COVID-19 Coconino County Health Weekly Schools Update zip code data shows an increase of positivity above 5% for 2 weeks or an increase of cases to 100/100, 000 for one week.

100% In-Person Model
Using the COVID-19 Coconino County Health Weekly Schools Update zip code data, The PEAK School will reopen for 100% in person learning when all three of the following districts: Coconino County Accommodation (86004), Flagstaff Charter(86001, 86004, 86005,86011) and Flagstaff Unified(86001, 86004, 86005,86011, 86015, 86017, 86018, 86020, 86035), show measurements of less than 10 cases per 100,000, less than 3% positivity rates and less than 3% of hospital due to COVID-like illness for 4 consecutive weeks. Parents will also have the option of joining Cohort C, which would be a fully remote option.

The PEAK School would return to the Hybrid/Cohort model if COVID-19 Coconino County Health Weekly Schools Update zip code data shows an increase of positivity above 3% for 2 weeks or an increase of cases to 20/100, 000 for one week.

Remote/At Home Learning Model
All students will participate in remote learning five (5) days per week according to The PEAK School Calendar. The online school day will begin at 8:25 for Kindergarten through 3rd grade and 8:10 for 4th through 8th grade. The school day will end at 2:45 for Kindergarten through 3rd grade and 3:00 for 4th through 8th grade (early dismissals on Wednesdays will still take place as normally scheduled).

*Accommodations and services will be provided in all three learning models(e.g., special education services as determined by the IEP team, English Language Learners). Special Education Services will be determined by the IEP team)
