The PEAK School will remain in Remote / At Home learning through February 12, 2021.
Based on projections and PEAK School metrics we do not foresee being able to open on January 4, 2021 for in-person hybrid learning. At this time PEAK School is postponing in-person instruction through February 12, 2021. If the metrics are met sooner we will notify parents and begin in-person hybrid instruction.
Hybrid/Cohort Model
Using the COVID-19 Coconino County Health Weekly Schools Update zip code data, The PEAK School will not open until all three of the following districts: Coconino County Accommodation (86004), Flagstaff Charter(86001, 86004, 86005,86011) and Flagstaff Unified(86001, 86004, 86005,86011, 86015, 86017, 86018, 86020, 86035), show measurements of less than 50 cases per 100,000, less than 5% positivity rates, and less than 5% of hospital due to COVID-like illness for 4 consecutive weeks. At this time a Hybrid model with 2 cohorts of students will begin. Cohort A will attend in person school on Monday and Tuesday, Cohort B will attend school Thursday and Friday of each week. Cohort A and B will be fully remote every Wednesday. Parents will also have the option of joining Cohort C, which would be a fully remote option.
The PEAK School would return to Remote/ At Home only learning if COVID-19 Coconino County Health Weekly Schools Update zip code data shows an increase of positivity above 5% for 2 weeks or an increase of cases to 100/100, 000 for one week.
100% In-Person Model
Using the COVID-19 Coconino County Health Weekly Schools Update zip code data, The PEAK School will reopen for 100% in person learning when all three of the following districts: Coconino County Accommodation (86004), Flagstaff Charter(86001, 86004, 86005,86011) and Flagstaff Unified(86001, 86004, 86005,86011, 86015, 86017, 86018, 86020, 86035), show measurements of less than 10 cases per 100,000, less than 3% positivity rates and less than 3% of hospital due to COVID-like illness for 4 consecutive weeks. Parents will also have the option of joining Cohort C, which would be a fully remote option.
The PEAK School would return to the Hybrid/Cohort model if COVID-19 Coconino County Health Weekly Schools Update zip code data shows an increase of positivity above 3% for 2 weeks or an increase of cases to 20/100, 000 for one week.
